Details

The purpose of milestones a milestone is to keep you and your team on track for a timely project completion (without pulling any all-nighters the week prior to the final deadline).

The first milestone should demonstrate progress by all team members. At this point, all research related to understanding the scope of the project should be done, and the project should be in a state where there are no knowledge gaps in the progression from the current state to the final completed solution. A specific list and timeline of completed and uncompleted tasks is expected, along with any preliminary results. You should also include a detailed discussion of the present architecture and how it aligns to what you originally proposed – were there any changes that had to be made? If so, why? What's the plan going forward? The presentation should be 10 minutes.
