The first milestone should demonstrate progress by all team members. At this point, all research related to understanding the scope of the project should be done, and the project should be in a state where there are no knowledge gaps in the progression from the current state to the final completed solution. A specific list and timeline of completed and uncompleted tasks is expected, along with any preliminary results. You should also include a detailed discussion of the present architecture and how it aligns to what you originally proposed – were there any changes that had to be made? If so, why? What's the plan going forward?

The second milestone should demonstrate significant progress towards the final goal. At this point, your project's logical components should be working independently. A solid plan should be in place for the integration of all components that forms the completed solution. A  A specific list and timeline of completed and uncompleted tasks is expected, along with any preliminary results. You should also include a detailed discussion of the present architecture and how it aligns to what you originally proposed – were there any changes that had to be made? If so, why? What's the plan going forward?

Final Presentation and Demonstration

Details

At the conclusion of the semester, your group must conduct a comprehensive presentation and compose a written report on your project. It should include a walk-through of the steps you took, problems you encountered along the way, etc. that allowed you to arrive at your completed solution. You should include a complete discussion of the network and software architecture. An analysis of the network performance and network requirements should be included as well. Each team member should demonstrate complete knowledge about the project's technical details, especially in the area in which (s)he contributed.
